Fyndercode ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. This policy applies to the Fyndercode mobile app (Android & iOS) and this website.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and profile photo provided via Google or Facebook sign-in.
  • Profile content: photos, gallery images, bio, links, and shop items you choose to upload.
  • Unique creator code: an auto-generated identifier (e.g. nova-0001) used for discovery.
  • Messages: chat content exchanged between users, stored to deliver the service.
  • Transaction data: wallet top-ups and order records. Card/bank details are processed by Razorpay — we never see or store them.
  • Device data: push notification tokens, device model, and OS version for delivering notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide core features: profiles, search, chat, shops, and wallet.
  • Process payments and orders securely through Razorpay.
  • Send push notifications about messages and order updates.
  • Verify identity via social platforms (Google, Facebook) to keep the community safe.
  • Improve app performance and fix bugs.

3. What We Never Do

We never sell your personal data, never store payment card details, and never read your messages for advertising purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers essential to operate the app:

  • Razorpay — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
  • Google / Facebook — authentication and social verification.
  • Cloud infrastructure — secure hosting of app data.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. transaction records).

6. Your Rights

  • Access and export your data.
  • Correct inaccurate profile information.
  • Delete your account and data — see our Data Deletion page.
  • Withdraw consent for optional permissions (camera, photos, notifications) anytime in device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Fyndercode is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has created an account.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed credentials, and access controls to protect your data. Payments use 256-bit encrypted Razorpay infrastructure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app and on this page with a new "last updated" date.
